Blockchain technologies can support accountable automation, and increased efficiencies. They can build trust across networks of disparate partners and facilitate value chain transparency. Hyperledger Sawtooth was used as a steppingstone to prove feasibility of blockchain powered RTI management, as it can support multi-agent implementations, ad-hoc creation of partner networks, shared ownerships and asset properties monitoring among others, whilst on the fly pluggable consensus algorithms leave room for future transactional efficiencies.
